Product Introduction

Unicarb 150mg Injection belongs to the class of anticancer medicines known as alkylating agents and contains Carboplatin as its active ingredient. It is prescribed for the treatment of certain types of ovarian and lung cancer, either alone or in combination with other anticancer medicines. Consult your doctor immediately if you notice symptoms of an allergic reaction, unusual bruising, kidney-related complications such as haemolytic-uraemic syndrome, or signs of anemia caused by a low red blood cell count. Inform your healthcare provider if you develop lung-related symptoms, including shortness of breath, inflammation of the lung tissue, or a lung infection while receiving Unicarb 150mg Injection. Effective contraception should be used throughout treatment and for at least six months after the final dose to avoid pregnancy. Unicarb 150mg Injection may temporarily or permanently affect fertility in both men and women. Therefore, it is advisable to discuss fertility preservation and any related concerns with your doctor before beginning treatment.
