Product Introduction

Unigrilin 75mg Injection contains Eptifibatide as its active ingredient. It is a cardiovascular medicine that belongs to the class of glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors. This medication is primarily used for the treatment of acute coronary syndromes, including unstable angina and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). It works by preventing platelet aggregation and reducing blood clot formation within the coronary arteries, thereby lowering the risk of additional heart-related complications. Unigrilin 75mg Injection helps maintain adequate blood flow through the coronary arteries and minimizes the risk of new clot formation or the progression of existing clots. Before starting treatment, inform your healthcare provider if you have a known allergy or hypersensitivity to Eptifibatide or any of the ingredients in this medicine. Patients with severe kidney disease should not receive Unigrilin 75mg Injection because it is mainly eliminated through the kidneys. Individuals with a history of intracranial bleeding, aortic dissection, or other conditions that may worsen with anticoagulant therapy may require alternative treatment options. Patients with bleeding disorders, recent surgery, trauma, or any condition that increases the risk of bleeding should use this medication only under close medical supervision after careful evaluation by their healthcare provider.

Uses

Unigrilin 75mg injection is used in the following: Coronary angioplasty and stent placement Acute coronary syndrome (ACS)

How it works

Unigrilin 75mg injection acts by binding to platelet glycoprotein IIb/IIIa receptors, obstructing the attachment of fibrinogen and von Willebrand factor. This interference prevents platelet cross-linking, slowing the formation of stable blood clots. This mechanism is essential in situations such as acute coronary syndrome and coronary procedures where controlling clot formation is critical.

How to Use

Unigrilin 75mg injection is administered through intravenous (IV) infusion, by healthcare provider. During the infusion, the patient's vital signs and overall response to the medication require close monitoring by the health care professional.
