Upadoz 30mg Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat a variety of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders in adults. It contains Upadacitinib, which belongs to the class of Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitors. This medicine works by blocking specific enzymes involved in immune system signalling, thereby reducing abnormal immune responses. As a result, it helps relieve symptoms such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain. The oral tablet formulation offers a convenient alternative to injectable biologic therapies, providing effective long-term disease management and improving overall quality of life. During treatment with Upadoz 30mg Tablet, regular monitoring of blood cell counts, liver function, and cholesterol levels is recommended, as the medicine may increase the risk of infections, including tuberculosis, herpes zoster (shingles), and pneumonia. This medication should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have a history of heart disease, cancer, blood clots, or chronic infections, as these conditions may require additional monitoring or special precautions.

Treatment of moderate to severe Rheumatoid Arthritis in adults who did not respond well to other medicines. Management of Psoriatic Arthritis in adults with an inadequate response to conventional therapies. Treatment of moderate to severe Atopic Dermatitis in adults who are candidates for systemic therapy. Treatment of active Ankylosing Spondylitis in adults who did not respond adequately to conventional therapies. Treatment of moderately to severely active Ulcerative Colitis in adults who have had an inadequate response or intolerance to other medicines.
