Product Introduction
Urotone 25mg tablet is a choline ester medication containing bethanechol. It is indicated for the treatment of urinary retention and reflux esophagitis. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to bethanechol or any other ingredients in the formulation. Inform your doctor before starting treatment if you have gastrointestinal obstruction, difficulty passing urine, recent myocardial infarction, or recent abdominal surgery. This medicine is contraindicated in patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or aged over 70 years.
Uses
Urinary retention (holding urine in the bladder) Reflux oesophagitis (inflammation of the oesophagus).
How it works
Urotone 25mg tablet stimulates muscarinic receptors, causing smooth muscle contractions in the bladder and gastrointestinal tract. This helps relieve urinary retention and promote normal bodily functions.
How to Use
Take the Urotone 25mg tablet as your physician advises. It is advised to consume this medicine on an empty stomach. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.
