Product Introduction

Utreva 8% Gel contains Progesterone as its active ingredient. Progesterone is a naturally occurring hormone that plays an essential role in the female reproductive system and is responsible for regulating the menstrual cycle. It is primarily produced by the ovaries after ovulation, while the placenta produces it during pregnancy, and smaller amounts are released by the adrenal glands. Utreva 8% Gel contains a synthetic form of Progesterone that is prescribed for a variety of medical conditions. It works by imitating the effects of the body's natural Progesterone hormone. This medicine is commonly used as part of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in menopausal women and is also prescribed to help regulate menstrual cycles in women with irregular periods. Patients with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to Progesterone or any of the ingredients in Utreva 8% Gel should avoid using this medication. It may not be suitable for individuals with certain medical conditions, including liver disease, specific cancers such as breast or liver cancer, a history of blood clotting disorders, or unexplained vaginal bleeding, as these conditions may increase the risk of complications or worsen during treatment. Additionally, patients with hormonal disorders, such as uncontrolled hyperthyroidism or poorly controlled diabetes, may require close medical supervision and possible dosage adjustments while using Utreva 8% Gel.
