Herpes simplex virus causes cold sores with painful ulcers around the mouth. Varicella zoster infection presents as shingles with blisters on the skin. Cytomegalovirus infection produces flu-like symptoms accompanied by skin rashes and swollen lymph glands. Do not take Valcivir 1000mg tablet if you are allergic to Acyclovir, Valacyclovir, or any other ingredients in this formulation. Inform your doctor before starting treatment if you have liver or kidney disease, as dose adjustment may be necessary in these conditions. Discontinue Valcivir 1000mg tablet and contact your doctor if you develop rashes with fever, swollen lymph nodes, elevated liver enzyme levels, or eosinophilia (increased white blood cell count).
