Product Introduction

Valparin 500mg Tablet is an anticonvulsant medication belonging to the class of sodium channel modulators, containing the active ingredient Sodium valproate. It is indicated for the treatment of epilepsy, including various types of seizures and epilepsy syndromes. Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterised by recurrent and unpredictable seizures, resulting from abnormal electrical activity in the brain. These seizures may cause loss of consciousness, muscle spasms, convulsions, altered sensations, or behavioural changes. Valparin 500mg Tablet may also be prescribed for neurological conditions such as bipolar disorder and migraines. Do not use Valparin 500mg Tablet if you are allergic to Sodium valproate or any other ingredients in the medicine. It should be avoided in patients with porphyria (a rare condition affecting red blood cell breakdown), a history of severe liver problems, urea cycle disorder, or mitochondrial disorders such as Alpers-Huttenlocher syndrome.

How it works
