Product Introduction

Valparin Oral Solution 200ml is an anticonvulsant medication belonging to the class of sodium channel modulators. It contains sodium valproate as the active ingredient and is used to treat epilepsy, including various seizure types and epilepsy syndromes. Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterised by recurrent and unpredictable seizures—episodes of abnormal electrical activity in the brain that can result in loss of consciousness, muscle spasms, convulsions, altered sensations, or changes in behaviour. This medication may also be prescribed for bipolar disorder and migraines. Do not use Valparin Oral Solution 200ml if you are allergic to sodium valproate or any of its other ingredients. Patients with porphyria (a rare condition affecting red blood cell breakdown), a history of severe liver problems, urea cycle disorder, or mitochondrial disorder such as Alpers-Huttenlocher syndrome should avoid this medication.

How it works

Valparin Oral Solution 200ml works by increasing the levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA is a neurotransmitter that calms nerve activity, reducing the likelihood of seizures or mood swings.

How to Use

Valparin Oral Solution 200ml should be taken orally as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the prescribed dose using a measuring spoon or cup. It can be taken with or without food, but taking it with food may help prevent stomach upset. Take the medication at the same time every day to maintain consistent levels in the body. Do not stop taking it suddenly without consulting your doctor.
