Avoid concurrent use with vitamin A, tetracyclines, or other retinoids such as Isotretinoin, Acitretin, or Tazarotene. Uses
Acute promyelocytic leukemia
How it works
Tretinoin binds to the fusion protein and breaks down the protein, making the immature blood cells differentiate into mature white blood cells (WBC). This helps restore normal blood cell production and reduces the number of abnormal cells present in blood and bone marrow.
