Product Introduction

Viadali 400mg Tablet contains Ademetionine as its active ingredient. It is used to treat intrahepatic cholestasis, a condition characterised by reduced bile flow from the liver. It is also indicated for other liver diseases including cirrhosis and alcoholic hepatitis. The medication is effective in treating major depressive disorder. Ademetionine works by promoting bile production, a fluid essential for fat digestion and toxin removal from the body. It is additionally used to manage osteoarthritis pain and inflammation by reducing production of inflammatory chemicals and supporting cartilage repair.

Do not use this medication if you are allergic to Ademetionine or any other ingredient in the formulation. The medication may trigger manic episodes in patients with bipolar disorder and is not recommended for this population. Safety in pregnant or breastfeeding women has not been established extensively, and use should be avoided during these periods. It may be harmful in patients with severe renal impairment. Use is contraindicated in patients with Parkinson's disease as it may worsen symptoms. Avoid use in homocystinuria as the condition's symptoms may be exacerbated. The medication is generally safe for older adults, though consultation with a healthcare provider is advisable before use in elderly patients. Safety and efficacy in children have not been extensively studied; use in the paediatric population should be avoided unless specifically recommended by a doctor.
