Vitamin D deficiency may occur when dietary or lifestyle intake is insufficient, or when the body requires additional vitamin D, such as during pregnancy. This medicine is also used to treat certain bone conditions, including osteoporosis (thinning of the bone), when given with other medicines.
Do not use Vitaglan D3 Oral Solution if you are allergic to Cholecalciferol or any of its ingredients. Avoid this medicine if you have high levels of vitamin D (hypervitaminosis D) or calcium (hypercalcemia) in your blood, high urine levels of calcium (hypercalciuria), kidney stones, or serious kidney problems.
Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, medical advice from your doctor before taking this medicine is essential.
