It is prescribed for severe, life-threatening fungal infections and as prophylaxis in high-risk patients, including those who have received bone marrow transplantation. This medicine must not be administered to children under 2 years of age. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Voriconazole or other constituents of the formulation. Before taking Voritrop 200mg tablet, inform your doctor if you have experienced allergic reactions to other azoles, have or have had liver disease, or have cardiomyopathy, cardiac arrhythmia, bradycardia, or an electrocardiogram abnormality known as long QTc syndrome.
