Product Introduction

Vorivance 200 Tablet is an antifungal medicine containing Voriconazole. It belongs to the class of fungal ergosterol synthesis inhibitors and is prescribed for severe, life-threatening fungal infections, as well as to prevent fungal infections in high-risk patients such as those who have undergone bone marrow transplantation.

This medicine should not be given to children younger than 2 years of age. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to Voriconazole or any other ingredient. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor if you have had allergic reactions to other azole antifungals, liver disease, cardiomyopathy, irregular or slow heartbeat, or a long QTc syndrome on ECG.

During therapy, avoid direct sunlight and use protective clothing and high-SPF sunscreen, including for children, because this drug can increase sun sensitivity. Dosage is decided by your doctor based on infection severity, liver function, and overall health, so follow the prescribed schedule strictly.

Common side effects include fever, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, swelling of the extremities, stomach pain, and breathing difficulties. While on treatment, inform your doctor immediately if you develop severe sunburn, skin blisters, bone pain, adrenal insufficiency symptoms (chronic fatigue, muscle weakness, appetite loss, weight loss, abdominal pain), or signs of Cushing's syndrome (weight gain, rounded face, thinning skin, easy bruising, high blood sugar).

If you have intolerance to certain sugars, tell your doctor because this medicine contains lactose.
