Product Introduction
Wegovy 2.4mg FlexTouch is a once-weekly injectable medicine used to support long-term weight loss and weight management in adults. It contains the active ingredient Semaglutide, a GLP-1 receptor agonist that works by mimicking a naturally occurring hormone responsible for regulating appetite and food intake. This GLP-1-based medication helps you feel full more quickly and remain satisfied for longer, making it easier to reduce calorie intake and adopt healthier eating habits. Wegovy is recommended for adults who are overweight or living with obesity, particularly those with weight-related conditions such as high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or high cholesterol. It is not intended as a quick solution for weight loss but should be used as part of a comprehensive weight management programme that includes a healthy diet and regular exercise. Before starting treatment, consult your doctor, who will review your medical history and determine whether Wegovy is an appropriate option for your weight management needs. Patients can also refer to the WEGOVY package insert PDF or the Wegovy patient information leaflet for detailed prescribing information. It is important to consider the Wegovy age limit, as this medicine is generally approved for adult use. Do not use the injection if the solution appears cloudy, discoloured, or contains visible particles. Before prescribing Wegovy, your doctor will evaluate whether it is suitable for you, especially if you have a history of thyroid disorders, pancreatitis, or severe stomach problems. It is mainly indicated for long-term weight management in adults with obesity or those who are overweight and have obesity-related medical conditions.
Uses
Wegovy 2.4mg is approved for: Long-term weight management in adults with obesity (BMI of 30 or more) Weight management in adults with a BMI of 27 or more who also have weight-related health issues like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol
How it works
Wegovy supports weight loss by mimicking natural hormones that regulate hunger. As a GLP-1 medication, it sends signals to your brain that you are full, helping you feel satisfied after smaller meals. It also slows down the movement of food through your stomach, which prolongs fullness and reduces cravings. Wegovy influences GIP, another hormone involved in metabolism, which can help improve how your body handles nutrients and supports weight management. Using a GLP-based approach like Wegovy provides consistent appetite control over time. Results appear gradually, allowing you to eat less without feeling deprived, which is essential for sustainable, long-term weight loss.

Rotate Injection Sites: To prevent skin irritation or lumps, inject into different spots on your abdomen, thigh, or upper arm each time. Manage Nausea Smartly: Eat small, balanced meals and avoid greasy or high-fat foods. This can help reduce nausea and improve digestion. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to prevent dehydration, especially if you experience nausea, vomiting, or diarrhoea.
