Wepox 30000 IU Injection

Wepox 30000 IU Injection contains recombinant human erythropoietin alfa (epoetin alfa) as its active component. It is an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA) indicated for the treatment of anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease (CKD), cancer chemotherapy, or zidovudine treatment in HIV infection. The injection also reduces the requirement for red blood cell transfusions in patients at high risk of blood loss during planned surgical procedures or other interventions.

Wepox 30000 IU Injection is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any excipient, uncontrolled hypertension, active thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), pure red cell aplasia (PRCA), uncontrolled seizures, pregnancy, or lactation. Cautious use is advised in patients with a history of thrombosis, cardiac disease, cerebrovascular accident, renal disease, hepatic disease, thalassaemia, sickle cell anaemia, myelodysplastic syndrome, leukaemia, or malignancy. Use in children under 18 years requires that potential benefits justify the risks. Older adults receiving this medication require close monitoring for adverse effects.
