Product Introduction
Zambact A injection contains two active ingredients: Ceftazidime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and Avibactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. This combination is effective against a wide range of bacteria and is used to treat serious infections including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and abdominal infections.
Zambact A injection is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to it or any of its components. Inform your physician if you are allergic to any antibiotic group.
Overdosage of Zambact A injection may result in fits-like symptoms. Notify your doctor if you have a history of seizures or epilepsy.
Use of this medication can lead to antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, ranging from mild to severe. Inform your physician if you experience severe diarrhoea during or after treatment.
Zambact A injection should be used cautiously in patients with impaired kidney function. Your doctor may adjust the dosage based on your kidney function and will closely monitor your kidney health during treatment.
Notify your physician if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult your physician for further advice regarding use during pregnancy or lactation.
Uses
Pneumonia Urinary tract infections Abdominal infections
How it works
Ceftazidime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Avibactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Avibactam helps protect Ceftazidime from being degraded by beta-lactamase enzymes, allowing the antibiotic to kill the bacteria effectively.
How to Use
Do not self-administer the Zambact A injection. Your doctor will decide the duration and dose of your treatment based on the disease severity and other factors. It will be given as an intravenous infusion, and you will be monitored carefully for unwanted side effects.
Side Effects
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Expert Tips
Finish the entire prescribed course of Zambact A injection, even if you start feeling better before the completion. Stopping the medication suddenly can lead to incomplete treatment and the risk of recurrent or resistant infections. Notify your doctor if you have allergies to cephalosporin antibiotics, penicillins, or other medications. Also, report any adverse reactions or side effects you experience during treatment.
