Product Introduction
Zavialfa 2.5gm Injection contains two active ingredients: Ceftazidime, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, and Avibactam, a beta-lactamase inhibitor. The combination is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria and is used to treat serious infections including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, and abdominal infections.
This injection is contraindicated in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to Ceftazidime, Avibactam, or any component of the formulation. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any antibiotic group.
Overdose of Zavialfa 2.5gm Injection may cause seizure-like symptoms. If you have a history of seizures or epilepsy, inform your doctor before treatment.
Use of this medication can cause antibiotic-associated diarrhea, ranging from mild to severe. Report to your doctor if you experience severe diarrhea during or after treatment.
Zavialfa 2.5gm Injection should be used with caution in patients with impaired renal function. Your doctor may adjust the dosage based on kidney function and monitor renal health closely during treatment.

How it works
Ceftazidime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Avibactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Avibactam helps protect Ceftazidime from being degraded by beta-lactamase enzymes, allowing the antibiotic to kill the bacteria effectively.
How to Use
Do not self-administer the Zavialfa 2/0.5gm injection. Your doctor will decide the duration and dose of your treatment based on the disease severity and other factors. It will be given as an intravenous infusion, and you will be monitored carefully for unwanted side effects.
