Product Introduction

Zoladex LA 10.8mg Injection contains Goserelin Acetate, an LHRH agonist used in cancer treatment. In men, it is prescribed for localised and advanced prostate cancer, either as monotherapy or combined with other treatments. In women, it is used for advanced breast cancer, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and endometrial thinning prior to surgery. It also has a role in assisted reproduction programmes when used with fertility medications. This medicine reduces testosterone levels in men and oestrogen levels in women, helping to control hormone-dependent tumour growth. The 10.8mg dosage is determined by the treating oncologist according to individual clinical requirements. For patients with prostate cancer, the 10.8mg formulation may form part of hormone therapy, while for women, it provides symptom relief in endometriosis by reducing pain and abnormal tissue growth caused by hormonal imbalance. The injection is manufactured to ensure high-quality and clinically approved formulations. In cases where this medicine is unavailable or unsuitable, healthcare providers may recommend an alternative with similar therapeutic benefit. This medication is contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Inform your doctor of any cardiac conditions, depression, or mood disturbances prior to commencing treatment. This injection is not recommended for use in children.
