Product Introduction
Zorrent 4mg Injection contains zoledronic acid, a bisphosphonate. It is used to reduce elevated calcium levels in the blood of adult patients with tumour-induced hypercalcaemia (TIH), a condition in which tumours accelerate bone resorption and increase calcium release into the bloodstream. The injection is also used to prevent bone complications in adult patients with multiple myeloma and bone metastases from solid tumours, as an addition to standard cancer therapy. Zorrent 4mg Injection is indicated for prevention or treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and men, a condition characterised by reduced bone density and increased fracture risk. It is used to treat Paget's disease of bone, a disorder in which bones become soft, weak, deformed, painful, or prone to fracture. The injection is also indicated for treatment or prevention of osteoporosis in men and women receiving glucocorticoids, which carry the risk of causing bone loss.
Do not use this injection if you are allergic to zoledronic acid, other bisphosphonates, or any ingredient in this medicine. It should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Before treatment, inform your doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, bone diseases, or jaw pain, swelling, or numbness. This medicine is not recommended for patients under 18 years of age. Zorrent 4mg Injection is not cancer chemotherapy and will not slow or stop cancer spread. However, it can be used to treat bone disease in patients with cancer.
