Product Introduction

Zy-Q 400mg Tablet contains hydroxychloroquine as its active ingredient. It is a medication used for several decades to treat and prevent malaria. It also manages certain autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. During 2020, there was significant attention and debate regarding its potential use in treating COVID-19. Early laboratory studies and reports suggested that it might have antiviral properties and be useful in reducing the severity of COVID-19 symptoms. In some cases, Zy-Q 400mg Tablet is used as a steroid-sparing agent, allowing for a reduction in the dosage of corticosteroids used to manage these conditions. This medication helps reduce skin sensitivity to sunlight and minimise the occurrence of skin rashes or lesions triggered by UV exposure. Patients with pre-existing retinal or visual field changes and previous blood disorders should exercise caution when considering Zy-Q 400mg Tablet therapy.
