Product Introduction

Zymmune 100mg Capsule contains cyclosporine, an immunosuppressant medication. It is primarily indicated to prevent organ rejection in patients who have received organ transplantation, including kidney, liver, or heart transplants. It is used alongside other medicines to prevent the body's immune system from rejecting the transplanted organ. Following solid organ transplantation, the body mounts a robust immune response as it recognises the transplanted organ's antigens as foreign. Immunosuppressive treatment is therefore necessary after organ transplantation to prevent rejection. Immunosuppressants increase the risk of skin cancer. Limit sun exposure, wear protective clothing, and use sunscreen with high SPF. Inform your physician if you have recently received vaccination with live vaccines. Zymmune 100mg Capsule should not be used in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to cyclosporine or its components. This medication can elevate blood pressure levels. It should be used with caution or avoided in individuals with uncontrolled hypertension or a history of high blood pressure. Discussion of potential reproductive effects with a healthcare professional is important, particularly for individuals planning conception. Diabetes monitoring is important, especially in individuals at risk.

How it works

By suppressing the immune system, Zymmune 100mg Capsule helps prevent organ rejection in transplant recipients. After organ transplantation, the immune system recognises the transplanted organ as foreign and launches an immune response to attack and reject it. Zymmune 100mg Capsule inhibits the activation of T-cells, a type of white blood cell involved in immune responses. This suppression of T-cell activity helps to prevent the immune system from attacking and damaging the transplanted organ, thereby increasing the chances of successful organ transplantation.
